Property Market Update, Poole

According to Nationwide in their report for February 2022, they noted that there has been an annual increase of 12.6%. This is a 1.6% increase on January, bringing the average house price in the UK up by £29,162 since last February.

This is a very large increase for one year, which may look very appealing if you are looking to sell in the next few months. According to Halifax, the average house price has now reached a record high of £278,123! This means that in the last 24 months, prices have increased by £38,709. For detached homes, prices have increased by £43,251 in just the last 12 months, therefore if you are thinking of moving you could be looking at a larger budget than you would've expected for your next home.
